Praying For The Lost

Our church is going through weeks of intentional prayer for the lost. There are large white boards on the walls with name after name of people that we are all praying for. It is sad and hopeful to see , Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, Husband, Wife and then there is one that says Myself. There are many up there with specific names on them. God knows who they are and we lift them up so that they can be touched to come to church and come down the aisle and be saved.I know that it is hard to understand what it is like to be a Christian if you have not lived it. Actually it can be very hard to explain also. I try to tell people that there is a sense of safety and contentment once you are saved. Jesus paid the price for our sins and we are forgiven. As I grow as a Christian I learn more every day it seems. I can see how I was as a babe and I continue to learn more all of the time. As long as I am living I pray that I will be learning and growing in Gods word.My regret is that I didn't know how important church and God was at an earlier age. I can never learn and remember as easy and quickly as you do as a child
